About Tractor Beam
Founded in 1995 by Dan Efram, Tractor Beam is a full-service artist management and production company. From 1997-1999, Tractor Beam also served as a record label, beginning with the release of the first Clem Snide album, You Were A Diamond.
The mission of Tractor Beam is to represent, develop, and support all forms of outstanding talent. This creative spirit has progressed and now includes Tractor Beam role as Producer of the documentary feature film, Call It Democracy.
About Dan Efram
Dan Efram is the Founder and President of Tractor
Beam and a member of the International Music Manager
Forum. His current clients include The Apples
in Stereo, The Klezmatics and Robbert Bobbert
& The Bubble Machine. Efram is also the Producer
of the documentary feature film, Call It Democracy.
During an internship at Rykodisc, Efram played
a pivotal role in obtaining Alex Chilton's Big
Star catalog for re-issue. Since then he has headed
the artist management and marketing divisions
of The Lodge, worked as a music journalist, served
as Label Manager of the independent Zero Hour
Records, and developed critical e-commerce, interactive
design, and new media marketing skills as a Project
Manager at Zentropy Partners/McCann-Erickson.
In film, Efram has served as Music Supervisor
for the full-length independent feature films
Pants on Fire and Snapped as well as the Sci-Fi
Channel Anti-Gravity Room. |
