An escaped, egotistical horse named appropriately “Horse With No Name” has been caught red handed wheat-pasting 24” x 18” posters of itself around NYC in order to satisfy its tremendous ego (above).
The show’s main photograph (left) caught Horse With No Name earlier this Summer after stealing some carrots; running down a Chinatown alley way to the surprise of a local woman.
“Surprise” was taken by photographer Dan Efram and is included in his latest show “What You Don’t Know Makes You Happy” currently on display at Dub Art @DubPies, 211 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY. The show closes Sunday, November 13th at 5pm.
“What You Don’t Know Makes You Happy” focuses on the absurd includes another candid of Horse With No Name as well as seven other prints based on four absurd scenes Efram captured and exposed for his latest controversial show, which is part of his Public Hangings series.
“That horse is nothing but trouble, “ chimes Efram. “it should be locked up or sold to Elmer’s!” Local community gardens have been crying foul for months about this thievery but no one knew that No Name was also such an arrogant, fame-whore. This latest ego trip is nothing but a cheap stunt to gain snapchat followers.
Readers with tips should email with any information leading to the capture.
